Heat is a 0–100 score of how hard a post is over-performing right now. It combines engagement velocity (share-weighted engagements per hour, normalized per platform), audience resonance (over-performance relative to the author's follower count), and a recency decay with a 48-hour half-life — so yesterday's spike cools off and a small account blowing up outranks a big account coasting.
